Editorships and Guest Editorships
Un-Making Architecture: Special Issue of The Journal of Architecture
Expected April 2023
Along with Jason E. Nguyen, I have guest edited a forthcoming special issue of The Journal of Architecture: "Un-Making Architecture". The issue will explore the converging modalities of un-making in architectural culture and history, from the destruction of buildings and environments to the dismantling of architectural institutions and practices.
Architectural Histories Editorial Board
I am a General Editor for Architectural Histories, the international, peer-reviewed, open access journal of the European Architectural History Network.
I am contributing two catalogue essays to this exhibition at the Musée de l'Oeuvre Notre-Dame, Strasbourg, curated by Cécile Dupeux and scheduled to open in January 2024. The exhibition will survey the artistic culture of a city at the crossroads of late Renaissance Germany, France, Italy, and the Netherlands, and will feature the protagonist of my forthcoming book, The Architectural Image and Early Modern Science: Wendel Dietterlin and the Rise of Empirical Investigation.
